Project Overview
Museums and educational centres face a common challenge: how do you transform information into engagement?
The Coastal & Marine Biodiversity Centre wanted visitors to experience marine life rather than simply observe it. Their vision was to create a captivating visual attraction that could educate audiences while generating curiosity about marine ecosystems and biodiversity.
Taco Visions was selected to bring this vision to life through a large-scale 3D lenticular installation that recreated the immersive feeling of exploring the ocean floor.
The final installation transformed an ordinary wall into a vibrant underwater world filled with depth, movement, and realism.
The Challenge
The project required balancing education, aesthetics, and technology.

The Solution
Taco Visions developed a custom panoramic underwater scene featuring carefully selected marine species and realistic ocean environments.
Rather than creating a collage of separate visuals, the team designed a single continuous ecosystem that guided the viewer’s eyes naturally across the installation.
Additional 3D and colour-changing effects were incorporated to increase engagement and enhance realism.
The final installation delivered both educational value and emotional impact.
Execution Process
Concept Development: The visual narrative was developed around marine biodiversity and ecological awareness.
Species Selection: Marine species were selected based on ecological relevance and educational significance.
Panorama Design: A continuous underwater environment was created to ensure uninterrupted viewing.
